Rocksmith Usb Guitar Adapter Driver Windows 10

My roommate has a very similar build running 8 and had 0 problems I'm hoping to find someone with a similar issue who managed to fix it. Thanks though. That's a tricky one.

I recently bought a Rocksmith 2014 USB cable for linking a guitar to my. The 'Hercules' adapter'. (Windows 10, 8, 7) HP PCs - Updating Drivers and. Oct 25, 2013 It turns out I've been living under a rock for the last year but I've just discovered the Ubisoft Rocksmith Real Tone Cable and this thing is Awesome! I come to you with the old age problem of my real tone cable not installing on windows 10. Windows mic driver.

But I doubt W8 is the issue here. Is the cable pluged directly in to the PC?

No hub or anything? Yes, it's plugged directly into the PC. I've tried the USB 2.0 on the back and the USB 3.0 on the front, to no avail. Xbox 360 Wired Controller Driver Windows 10 more. It makes the sound of a device being plugged in, but that's it. As I said, I uninstalled the driver and when I plug it in, Windows doesn't attempt to install it at all. Instead of showing up as Real Tone Cable in Control panel, it now shows as USB Audio Device. I tried finding the Driver online to install manually, but I can't seem to come across it.

Currently I've only got my Keyboard, mouse, and Real Tone Cable plugged in. I have two internal HDDs, but I don't think that would cause an issue. Yeah, I've tried it on all 5 USB 2.0 ports and the 3.0 port on the front. My computer recognizes the cable.

It shows up as Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter, but it has the yellow triangle with the exclaimation point. Upon going to properties, I get the error listed above. I appreciate you trying to help man, but I'm beginning to think this is a bust. I knew it had compatibility issues, but like I say, my roomate is running it on a nearly identical machine. Same processor/video card and a comparable mobo, with zero issues.

Guess I'll have to wait out an offical Win8 update. It's only been out for a year, huh? Maybe this will help. From a forum manager on ubi forums. 'Problem: When I plug in my Rocksmith Real Tone Cable, it doesn’t show up or Windows has trouble starting the device.

Solutions: Make sure that the USB port that you’re plugging the cable into is providing enough power to the cable and configured for Full Speed (12Mbit/s) or faster. Make sure that the Rocksmith cable is being listed in the “Recording” tab of the Sound control panel. If the cable is being recognized by Windows, then the game should be able to access it. For best results, plug the Rocksmith cable directly into a powered USB port on your PC.'
