Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter Driver 18.16.51.747 for Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Drivers Update Microsoft Wireless Notebook Adapter MN-720 Driver Supported OS: Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista.

Is anybody else having issues connecting to the microsoft wireless display adapter with their hp stream tablet and windows 10? (mine is an hp stream 8 5801ca). It worked fine under windows 8.1 but since updating to windows 10 it's been problematic.

It will sometimes connect on first attempt but often will take 6 or more attempts if it connects at all. Sometimes the only way to connect is to remove the device under the device settings menu and then add it again, but often this takes multiple tries as well. Wireless seems fine; i have good signal strength, good internet connection, and roku casting works well. I have updated all drivers for windows 10 on the HP site and have even done a restore install of win 10 on the tablet. Does anybody have any insight?

Thanks in advance, atek99. Thanks for the reply Malygris1. I followed your link and realized i had already installed that updated version. However, while there i read some of the user comments and reviews. One user suggested changing the wireless adapter to 2.4ghz mode only (from auto mode).

Although I have a different tablet, I changed my wi-fi to 801.11 b/g only (was not on auto but was on b/g/n). I have been able to connect to the wireless adapter fairly consistently since. I am not declaring a fix but things look promising. Will post if anything changes.

Nvidia Quadro Fx 4600 Driver Windows 10. Regards and Thanks, atek99.

Microsoft wireless display adapter works fine with Android smartphone and tablet, but not Windows 10 Home version 1607. When I try to 'Connect a wireless display' I see on TV screen that my Dell Inspiron 5558 laptop is trying to connect, but in a minute Microsoft display adapter goes back to 'Ready to connect' state and I see a MicrosoftDisplayAdapter_D7 in device manager with exclamation sign and in the properties 'This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. I have updated all drivers on the laptop including graphics and wireless adapter drivers, uninstalled MicrosoftDisplayAdapter from device manager and removed it from devices list, and tried again, but got the same results.
